IT'S TIME TO CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAY SEASON WITH...scarabs?
HELLO THERE VATHEONITES. So, what do you get when you combine an omniscient guardian of a really strange island who is totally not God, his obsession with all things related to Egypt, and the holiday season?
Why, the gift of scarabs, of course.
Jacob is basically going to be like an Egyptian Santa Claus or something and give out tiny wooden and stone amulets in the shape of scarabs to everyone ever. No, we really mean everyone ever. Even if Jacob has never met you in his life, you are getting a scarab. Here, have a look at how they look like.
But while everyone is getting scarabs, some people who are closer to him are getting unique scarabs that were made for that particular person. Here is the list of individualized amulets that certain people are getting:
Johnny Rayflo- His scarab is made from a sort of quartz- it is darker around the edges but lightens when it gets to the middle. His name is etched in hieroglyphics on the bottom.
Rayfell- The twin to Johnny's scarab, except her name is etched on the bottom in hieroglyphics.
Lea- A scarab colored the color of fire, with orange and red tones galore. On the bottom is his name in hieroglyphics and a small red heart.
Demyx- The twin to Lea's scarab, though colored a soothing blue. On the bottom is his name in hieroglyphics and a small red heart.
Riku- A scarab colored the color of dawn (a light reddish-pinkish color). On the bottom is his name in hieroglyphics.
Minato Arisato- A scarab painted a vivid blue. On the bottom is his name in hieroglyphics.
Karkat Vantas- A scarab that is painted grey- though if you look really closely, you can see tiny specks of red, as if the scarab was another color before being painted over. His symbol is painted a lighter gray on its wings, and on the bottom is his name in hieroglyphics.
The Signless- The twin to Karkat's scarab, though slightly bigger and painted a vivid red. His symbol is painted a light red on its wings, and on the bottom is his name in hieroglyphics.
Gamzee Makara- A scarab that is painted a metallic purple color, with his symbol painted a lighter purple on its wings. On the bottom is written his name in hieroglyphics and a small red heart.
Equius Zahhak- The twin to Gamzee's scarab, except painted a metallic blue color with Equius' symbol painter a lighter blue on its wings. On the bottom is his name in hieroglyphics and a small red heart.
Orihara Izaya- A scarab colored a deep black, with the Japanese characters for "Watchfulness" written in a light yellow on it's wings. On the bottom is his name in hieroglyphics.
Katsu Aoki- A scarab colored red and blue, with his name in hieroglyphics written on the bottom.
Silver- A scarab colored a metallic red, with his name in hieroglyphics written on the bottom and what looks to be like a small etching of a Pokeball.
Effy Stonem- A scarab colored silver, with her name in hieroglyphics written on the bottom.
Everyone else ever- Scarabs painted white or turquoise with holiday greetings written on the bottom in hieroglyphics.
If your character is not on this list and you think he or she has had a good amount of CR with Jacob for him to make a scarab specifically for them, don't hesitate to comment here and tell me!
